The artworks selected for this exhibit express the fragility and strength of both salt and fresh water as a subject of beauty, contamination, politics and weather patterns. This inventive exhibit includes artworks that are both two dimensional as well as three dimensional book and sculptural forms.
The California Society of Printmakers is a non-profit arts organization which promotes the practice and appreciation of fine art printmaking, and is a focus of activity for print artists, helping to maintain the integrity and identity of the art of printmaking. Founded in 1912, the society is the oldest continuously operating printmaking society in the United States.
